Dashcam Packages
Both Mobius dashcam packages that we offer include the Wide Angle lens (C lens) mobius camera; giving you the widest FOV (field of view) but still delivering a quality image. We have tried to create high quality, ready to use and easy to install package that includes everything you need, along with being configured for the particular application. We have created (2) different packages for two very different type of users; Mobius Quick Mount Universal DashCam Driving Recorder Package and the Mobius Stealth DashCam Driving Recorder Package
The Quick Mount Dashcam Package is for the mobius owners that would like to use their camera as a dashcam, but also use it for other functions. It’s unique magnet mount along with the 820mah internal battery allow the camera to be quickly and easily mounted and moved and used as a stand alone HD video camera that can record over 2 hrs of HD video. The camera can also be connected to your vehicles power via the supplied USB car charger to be continually powered or to recharge. An example of how this package could be used is; peal and stick the magnet mounting disc to your dash board, stick the camera, press the power button and your recording your commute to your child’s sporting event, then upon arrival take the camera and stick it to the brim of your hat via the optional hat clip and you have superb hands free video recording. The Stealth Dashcam Package is for the individual that wants to record all the driving trips in their vehicle and make a more permanent mounting of the camera; one where the camera is mounted out of sight and externally powered to record indefinitely in loop mode. Because the camera is going to be continually powered the internal battery has been replaced with a Super Capacitor. (LiPo batteries don’t respond well to being continually powered and will dramatically reduce their life) The package includes an adjustable mount with a easy peal and stick base, also included is a 6 ft USB cable and USB car charger and adhesive cable mounting clips to help neatly route the power cable. A hard-wire USB Power Kit is optional for connecting directly into the cars battery power (12-24vdc) This allows the camera to automatically start recording when the vehicle is started.
